The Charlotte Association of Insurance Professionals is a member organization of the National Association of Insurance Professionals. Mrs Willie Hood White was responsible for the start of our association on November 26, 1941. She believed that the organization would enhance the professional standing of the career woman in the field of Insurance.
While our name recently changed from the Charlotte Association of Insurance Women to the Charlotte Association of Insurance Professionals, our focus remains the same— enhancing the success of all professionals in our industry in lieu of just women. The Charlotte Association of Insurance Professionals is an organization focused on the educational and ethical advancement of our members.
Our monthly meetings focus on a variety of educational, social and community topics. From honoring Charlotte’s finest with the Burnette/Nobles Emergency Services Award to giving back to the community through volunteering at Friendship Trays, with Dress for Success and for The Salvation Army, the growth of our members as people contributes immensely to the growth of our members as professionals.
The Charlotte Association of Insurance Professionals is open to membership for both women and men involved in the Insurance industry. We meet the first Tuesday of each month (with some exceptions) for dinner at Red Rock’s Café at 5:00 pm. Please contact us if you are interested in joining us for one of our upcoming meetings.
