The National Association of Insurance Women (NAIW (International)) serves its members by providing professional education, an environment in which to build business alliances and the opportunity to make connections with people of differing career paths and levels of experience within the insurance industry.

Colleagues enjoying a break

Join the Charlotte Association of Insurance Women as we celebrate our 68th year as part of NAIW. Each year CAIW participates in educational and community service activities. We sponsor continuing education classes in all lines of insurance and present NAIW classes in Communication and other topics of interest to members and local associates. We award scholarships to local students pursuing a career in Insurance and Risk Management.

Our participation in local safety programs for school age children, the Susan B. Koman Race for the Cure, support of the Misty Meadows Mitey Riders and local literacy programs are among the projects carried out to make our community a better one in which to live and work. Don't you want to be part of this dynamic group? Fill out the Membership Request form and we'll contact you.

Meetings - our monthly membership meeting is normally held on the 1st Tuesday of each month (no meeting in July). Reservations are required (we need to make meal arrangements), see the Meetings page for all the details and check the Calendar for any changes.

Members - our site has a CAIW members-only area where detailed activities, contacts and profile information is available. If you're a CAIW member and haven't received your userid and password, drop a line to the Membership Chair. Once you're logged in you will be able to update your membership profile anytime, see what other members are doing and participate in discussions on business and topical subjects of interest.

"I joined CAIW because of the commitment to education and the insurance industry demonstrated by its members. But I have remained a member because of the fellowship, community involvement and the gratification I received in being a part of CAIW." - Geraldine, CPCU, SCLA, FCLA, AIC, CPIW, 2002
